Day Lilly, in our garden in New Jersey. This plant and flower grows to about three feet tall and lines our fence along the two streets, on our corner property.

My interest in photography began when I was twelve years old. My father gave me a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye to use on my school trip to Washington DC. It wasn't until I was in the Navy when I was stationed in West Pac Vietnam Campaign that I developed a serious interest in photography. My initial interest became a passion for photography. I realized that I wanted to expand my interest in photography by attending Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. I majored in Commercial Photography. Santa Barbara in the 1970s was a fantastic opportunity for a budding photographer with its beaches, mountains, and gorgeous weather.
